All camping areas are located on grass fields adjacent to the Watkins Glen International track area. Camping opens on Thursday, June 30th at Noon and will remain open continuously throughout the festival, closing on Monday, July 4th at noon.

All Campers must be 18+ OR accompanied by an Adult or Guardian.

In car camping, you camp next to / in front of / behind your parked car. Everyone entering car camping is required to have an Event Ticket. For safety reasons, vehicles are not permitted to leave and re-enter this area. Once you drive in and set up, you're there until the festival is over on Sunday Night (no vehicle ins/outs in this area).

ALL VEHICLES WILL BE THOROUGHLY SEARCHED UPON ENTRY. If you have this in your CD player, it will be found.

If your group is camping and driving more than one car to the festival, you must arrive together to be able to park and camp next to each other. People in your group arriving later can drive in and park wherever the next available car camping spot is and then either set up there or walk over to your area to join you. You are on your own to coordinate with each other via phone, email or text messaging (Warning: No "sexting." It just sounds wrong).

Once you are parked in a camping area you may not move your vehicle for the duration of the festival. This is for your safety and the safety of your neighbors. If you plan to drive in and out of the festival grounds over the weekend, you should park in the "Day Parking" area. Ask the parking staff to direct you there upon entering the festival grounds.

Tent camping is a special designated area separate from the car camping area. This area is tent ONLY camping. Cars will be parked in a parking lot close to this special area. People wishing to camp in this area must purchase a General Admission 3 day ticket.

If you want to camp together with other friends in this area you must all arrive at the same time. Sorry, no savesies and no peeing around the perimeter of your site to mark your territory.

Yes you can visit people camping in the car camping or RV camping areas. But honestly, what do you have in common with those people?

RV camping will be a designated area just for RVs. An RV is any vehicle larger than a standard passenger van (towed trailer, Camper, buses, etc) made for sleeping. People wishing to camp in this area must purchase an RV pass for the RV. Each person camping with you in the RV must have a General Admission ticket. One companion vehicle is allowed with the purchase of a companion vehicle pass. Your companion vehicle must arrive at the same time as the RV. For a nominal fee you will be able to have your dirty water pumped out and clean water pumped into your RV. This service will be available Friday - Sunday of the event.

No power hook-ups will be provided so make sure you arrive with enough fuel to power your generator for the weekend. However, Regular Hookups will probably be available, if you just be yourself and don't act too desperate.

You may want to consider driving a Winnebago. The mini-Winnie is part of American tradition. The cutting edge of design and function, in a Class C motor home. The Winnebago concepts and engineering department have developed a multi-functional bathroom, privacy, I don't even know what fuck I'm reading.

In "Glen Close Camping," you have the option of camping next to your car, or camping in your RV (which requires a separate "Glen Close Camping RV Pass"). Everyone entering "Glen Close Camping" is required to have a "Glen Close Camping" Ticket. For safety reasons, vehicles are not permitted to leave and re-enter this area. Once you drive in and set up, you're there until the festival is over on Sunday Night (no vehicle ins/outs in this area). There are no more open slots for RVs in "Glen Close Camping". Super Ball IX will have a limited number of fully set up, weatherproof tents available to rent. Tent rentals will be available in both the "Glen Close Camping" and General camping areas. If you purchase a tent in the "Glen Close Camping" area you and everyone in your party will need "Glen Close Camping" ticket. Only one vehicle per order will be allowed into the tent area. Additional vehicles will have to park in general parking areas. Amenities include 2 cots (additional cots are $30 each), Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows, etc), staff to help you. The tents measure 10x13.

We'll return the damage deposit immediately following the festival provided there is no damage to the tent or cots. Please note that tickets to Superball IX are NOT included in the tent rental and you must purchase tickets for the area you wish to camp in (i.e. "Glen Close Camping" or general camping). Super Ball IX will have accessible camping conveniently located near the venue. Super Ball IX is accessible to all guests with disabilities. During our festival the site fields will feature wheelchair accessible ramps, disabled parking spaces, accessible public restrooms, water fountains and concession stands.
